Tin plate is mainly used in packing industry and it has excellent corrosion stability, beautiful appearance, light weight, good formability, organic materials resistance, diluted acid, alkali and salt corrosion resistance. Electrolytic tinning plate also can be separated into two categories: food sector (namely food packing) and common sector (non-food packing product). The quality of electrolytic tinning plate has relations with speed, width, thickness, layer thickness and other factors. Therefore, it has very strict requirements on electrical control system.
The electrical control system for continuous electrolytic tinning plate production line No.2 for Hainan Haiwoo Tipplate Industry Co., Ltd was put into production successfully in June 2009. The maximum running speed of the production line can reach 400m/min. The appraisal on the production line from the kind of Japan: it built the landmark of Chinese tinplate production line.
The speed regulating precision in the whole line under the stable status can reach ±0.1% and the tension under the stable status is controlled at 0.2%.
Electrical control system is separated into drive system, meter system, MCC system, upper monitoring and operating system. The drive system, meter system and MCC are controlled by a large sized SIEMENS controller PLC of S7-400 series. High speed and stable industrial Ethernet communication is adopted between controllers, controller and upper monitoring system. PLC, driving and electrolysis power supply system, galvanization power supply system and soft melting system adopts filed bus PROFIBUS-DP network communication with international advanced level, stable performance. Driving system (Siemens, ABB, Parker SSD or the one appointed by the client) adopts vector controller with DC generatrix structure. The energy can be distributed freely on the DC generatrix and the system runs stable. The speed and tension of all sections have better controlling precision.
